Position Overview
We are looking for an organized, proactive Project Manager with 3+ years experience in an agile environment to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring seamless coordination, maintaining project timelines, project controlling, fostering effective communication across the team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing project workflows, preventing overload on our designers, and delivering clear project updates, do status reports and forecasts. German language would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities
1) Project Planning, Controlling, and Coordination
- Develop comprehensive project plans with clear timelines, resource allocation, and task distribution to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain a high-level project overview to identify priorities, manage dependencies, and mitigate potential bottlenecks.
- Coordinate workloads across the team, ensuring optimal productivity and creativity, particularly for designers.
- Prepare weekly status reports, forecasts, and project-specific accounting documentation.
- Bring proven experience managing the creation of digital products (e.g., websites, portals, apps) and digital communication initiatives (e.g., social media, campaigns).
2) Team Management
- Assign tasks and clarify team roles to ensure every member understands their responsibilities.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, designers, and other team members to maintain alignment on objectives.
- Lead regular team check-ins and status update meetings to keep progress on track and the team motivated.
3) Communication and Reporting
- Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, keeping all stakeholders informed on progress, challenges, and upcoming deliverables.
- Provide detailed, timely status reports highlighting milestones, potential delays, and actionable insights for leadership.
- Document and communicate project changes to the team, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Proficiency in management tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Office is essential.
4) Quality and Efficiency Management
- Oversee deliverables to ensure they meet the highest quality standards and align with client expectations.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and communication methods.
- Conduct project retrospectives to gather insights, refine processes, and celebrate team successes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Project Management, Digital Communication).
- 3+ years of experience managing digital projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of digital products and communication channels, including web development, app creation, and digital campaigns.
