About us

Note: To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be a South African citizen or hold a valid work permit.

Serviceplan Group is Europe’s largest independent, partner-led agency group, renowned for its innovative, integrated solutions across strategy, creative, media, and digital communications. With a global presence and more than 5,000 experts in over 30 countries, we help our clients create impactful, future-ready brand experiences. As part of our ongoing growth, our new Cape Town division, Plan.Net CreativeNest South Africa, delivers cutting-edge digital services in UX/UI, real-time 3D asset creation, and social media community management.

We are looking for an AI Creative Technologist / Creative Coder (all genders) based in Cape Town.

Your role

  • Invent expressive UIs for agentic products—think multi‑modal, prompt‑aware, always‑learning front ends built primarily in React (Next.js/Vite) and complementary frameworks.
  • Fuse design and code by automating Figma files into production‑ready components using Model‑Context Protocoll (MCP) in Model Centric Programming pipelines and agent workflows.
  • Prototype “vibe‑coded” ideas—rapidly sketch with code generation tools, Claude Code snippets or Cursor Agents, then polish into resilient software.
  • Collaborate across the stack: write Python micro‑services or data stitching scripts whenever the product demands it.
  • Ship AI‑native features with frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI or the OpenAI SDK, ensuring deterministic behaviour and smooth UX.
  • Champion best practices (clean architecture, automated testing, CI/CD) while maintaining a playful, experimental mindset.

What You Bring

  • Super‑strong front‑end engineering in React.js plus familiarity with one or more modern companions (Next.js, Solid.js, Svelte, Vue, Qwik, etc.).
  • Hands‑on experience with Claude Code and/or Cursor Agents in daily workflows.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for “vibe‑coding”—comfortable letting generative tools co‑create, iterate and refactor alongside you.
  • Strong Python skills and the agility to hop between front‑end and back‑end contexts as needed.
  • Production use of AI‑agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI or direct integration via the OpenAI SDK.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate Figma designs into code via MCP pipelines and custom agents.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with WebGL / shaders, p5.js, or Three.js for artistic visualisation.
  • Familiarity with edge compute (Cloudflare Workers, Vercel Edge Functions) and event‑driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of design systems, accessibility and internationalisation for global audiences.
  • Contributions to open‑source agent frameworks or creative‑coding libraries

What we offer

  • Benefit to health insurance deducted from your monthly remuneration
  • 20 days (about 3 weeks) paid annual leave, additional paid leave for annual office closure between Christmas and New Years Eve
  • Access to Plan.Net Group eLearning opportunities for all employees, ensuring continuous growth and development
