We are looking for an UX/UI Designer (all genders) based in Cape Town.

Your role

As a UX/UI Designer (all levels) you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and intuitive digital experiences for a leading German automotive client. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners, to understand project requirements and translate them into conversion driven user-centric design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with UX/UI leads and the Cape Town team to create customer-centric designs that align with our vision, mission, and values for international clients
  • Take ownership of your work, accept and provide constructive criticism, explain design decisions, and collaborate effectively.
  • Partner with the product team, stakeholders, and customers to design solutions that meet both customer and business objectives.
  • Contribute to Figma components and tokens for clients’ white label design systems, building a solid design foundation for the future.
  • Present work in meetings, handle feedback, and support designs with UX research and usability testing, including facilitating user research if needed.
  • Create low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and responsive UI designs in Figma, and work closely with development teams for seamless implementation.

We would like you to have:

  • minimum 2–5 years of user-centered UX/UI design experience, including contributing to and working with design systems
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in the design field
  • Strong communication skills for presenting concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping
  • Experience with design tokens; additional skills in motion design tools are a plus
  • Flexible approach to working across diverse products
  • Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS)
  • Familiarity with ticket-based systems such as Jira and Confluence
  • Agency experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Portfolio demonstrating a variety of design projects
